The renovation of Sinai Akiba’s private school facility on L.A.’s Wilshire Boulevard breathed new life into two floors housing the middle school, fifth grade, library, gymnasium and other related facilities. ARC Engineering provided MEP services and worked with SPF:architects on the design on the 40,000 sq. ft. project, in which the school’s floor plan was reconfigured to provide an expanded state-of-the-art learning space. ARC updated the rooftop mechanical systems and upgraded MEP systems for all the classrooms, offices and gymnasium. Inner Space Construction completed the $6 million project in 2008.
