In 2007, the international law firm O’Melveny and Myers, which is also the oldest firm in Los Angeles, commenced with a 5 floor restack of their offices in the at 400 South Hope Street in downtown Los Angeles.
ARC Engineering, together with AREA Architecture, created a swing space and worked floor by floor, taking each floor back to structure for the new high-end office while adding a new gym, kitchen and installing MEP systems that coordinate perfectly and invisibly with Area’s defined aesthetic. Taslimi construction orchestrated the construction.
The 120,000 total sq. ft. restack was completed in 2008.
