Wallis Dedication Ceremony

The Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts project is as old as ARC with its inception back in 2006.  Now after years of design and construction that dream is a reality.  ARC principals Hisham Barakat and TK Wong proudly attended the dedication ceremony where the historical building opened its doors and embraced the new structure.  You can read more about this amazing building in our projects section and also read this news article:

ARC donates design time for a great cause

ARC gives back to the community by donating design time for Skid Row Housing project.  This project is no ordinary build-out.  Together, DHS and Skid Row Housing Trust are securing permanent supportive housing for the frailest of the homeless and helping them obtain the medical, psychological and social support they need.  Other cities across the nation are taking heed of what’s being done here in LA; in fact, NPR recently aired a piece on how LA’s “housing first” model is combating chronic homelessness.  So what may seem as simple design donation, we are actually proud to be part of a revolutionary movement that will help end one of the most critical issues our cities face!
