ARC gives back to the community by donating design time for Skid Row Housing project. This project is no ordinary build-out. Together, DHS and Skid Row Housing Trust are securing permanent supportive housing for the frailest of the homeless and helping them obtain the medical, psychological and social support they need. Other cities across the nation are taking heed of what’s being done here in LA; in fact, NPR recently aired a piece on how LA’s “housing first” model is combating chronic homelessness. So what may seem as simple design donation, we are actually proud to be part of a revolutionary movement that will help end one of the most critical issues our cities face!
