Fox Building 105

Fox envisioned a small footprint, state-of-the art production facility to house world-class directors and their entire team during post-production of a film. Building 105, a 4-story 14,000 sq. ft. brand new facility in the middle of the Fox studio lot in Century City, CA realizes their vision. ARC provided comprehensive MEP systems for the 3-year project with Gensler, Tectonics, and Brooke Rege as part of the team.

Building 105 includes a full range of production and post-production facilities all contained in one secure building. It is an extraordinary facility where all of the filmmaker’s needs are contained under one roof; it is both more efficient and allows for better creative synergy.

The building contains editing bays for both film and visual effects teams as well as a 90 seat multi-use screening room that not only has multiple format screening capability but also has full color correction technology and ideally suited for film previews.

The challenge of this project was integrating the building systems into existing lot conditions.
