ARC Engineering has a long term, ongoing collaboration with NBCUniversal at their main headquarters, the Wilshire Courtyard, and has provided wide-ranging MEP services at this facility located in the Miracle Mile area of Los Angeles. When E! Entertainment, a subsidiary of NBCU, relocated their Santa Monica offices – they needed to consolidate both staff and real estate and two contiguous spaces became available at Wilshire Courtyard – the ARC team was fully committed and understood the technical needs, culture and production protocols that would facilitate a smooth transition. ARC offered recommendations and provided execution details within all these various projects with one main goal: to ensure that a high-functioning MEP infrastructure was in place to serve the spaces.
Since the building floor plate was larger than a football field, it was critical that the newly acquired spaces flowed and connected with their existing space aesthetically and systematically. Working with Studio V, Studio 440 and Information Architects on various projects within the space to implement that vision, ARC additionally upgraded the digital systems, server room, radio station and multiple channels production group spaces.
As NBCU has grown, ARC Engineering has met the need to expand, update, maintain and adapt the Wilshire Courtyard facility, working with an array of architects, contractors, project managers and consultants to provide exceptional service to this key client.
