When Reveille, a television production company responsible for hits like “The Office,” leased the 30,000 sq. ft. office space at 1741 Ivar Ave in Los Angeles, tenant improvements were in order. An immediate challenge facing ARC Engineering was the low ceiling height – 11 ft. – which necessitated an open plan and careful coordination with architects Felderman Keatinge, who focused on making the space feel larger and more open. Liberal use of large spiral sheet metal HVAC ductwork successfully conceal ARC’s systems and contribute to the industrial cool aesthetic of the renovated space. The 6-month project was finished in 2012.
